Sea of Serendipity
Pottery
Created in 1998 by Lynndy Gately at the Des Moines Art Center Pottery class. It was displayed in the 2024 Member Only Exhibit at the Ankeny art Center.
I created Sea of Serendipity in a pottery class I was taking in 1998. I was inspired by my deep love for the sea and ocean. The beach and the sea are my happy place. This piece reminds me of the peace and tranquility of the sea. It also reminds me of all the sea life and how we need to take better care of our oceans and seas.
